Dlx1 mutants performed similarly to their wild-type controls in the spontaneous alternation task, as indicated by the mean (± SEM) of the number of entries into the maze arms (# Entries), percent of spontaneous alteration (%SA), and percent of repeat entries (% Repeat Entries) for the first 2 min (a) and the entire 8 min (b).
